Stewardship Ministry
Ministries are how FCC organizes itself. Members and participants in FCC are encouraged to participate in a Ministry in which they feel called to serve. Participation in a Ministry may look and be different for each individual. It includes a wide variety of ways to share time and talents within the Ministry activities, projects, tasks or leadership. Ministries meet as often as needed (usually at least quarterly) to plan programs & activities, to incorporate new activities, or to dream about how God might be at work in new ways.
Rooted in the Values:
• Stewardship of the Earth, including our own land and building
• Individual and Communal Wellness
We are looking for people who:
- Are willing to count offering after worship and to sign checks.
- Are interested in the congregation's financial wellness - even if you are not an accountant or "financial expert."
- Can encourage generosity among our members and friends.
- Would like to dream about new ways to use our building space.
- Enjoy workdays and church building projects/maintenance, even if you need some training.
- Have the flexibility to meet a contractor at the building.
- Enjoy researching a "good deal" to help the congregation spend our money wisely.
- Have a green thumb and like to mow, weed, or maintain landscaping.
