Community Wellness Ministry

Ministries are how FCC organizes itself. Members and participants in FCC are encouraged to participate in a Ministry in which they feel called to serve. Participation in a Ministry may look and be different for each individual. It includes a wide variety of ways to share time and talents within the Ministry activities, projects, tasks or leadership. Ministries meet as often as needed (usually at least quarterly) to plan programs & activities, to incorporate new activities, or to dream about how God might be at work in new ways.

Rooted in the Values:

• Ministry with those in our community, especially those who live on the margins

• Compassionate Hospitality

We are looking for people who:

- Have connections in the community.

- Have ideas about ways to build relationships with our ministry partners.

- Want to share the story of our church with the larger community.

- Like community service projects.

- Can help our church have a more public presence in community events.

- Want to work with others to prioritize our mission focus.

- Enjoy creating bulletin boards, fliers, brochures, and other means of helping get the word out.
