Camp Wakon' Da-Ho
Nestled in the beauty of Yosemite, Kentucky, Camp Wakon’ Da-Ho serves as a special gathering place for children and youth from Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) congregations across the state. More than just a summer destination, the camp provides a sacred space where young people experience God through worship, fellowship, and the wonders of creation. The spiritual foundation formed at camp strengthens youth for the journey ahead, equipping them to become devoted servants, compassionate leaders, and faithful members of the church and wider community.

Wakon’Da-Ho is my favorite place on the planet. From tree-lined vespers to the spunky cabins. The place and the people exude a powerful feeling of acceptance and goodwill. I’ve experienced every stage of camp from mini -camp up to taking on leadership this year for my last time as a camper and every moment of it was truly wonderful. I have made the most amazing connections with peers, in nature, and within myself.
To me, Camp Wakon’Da-Ho is nothing less than holy ground."
