Christmas Eve Service

TIME - Christmas Eve Worship will begin at 8:00 p.m. in our sanctuary. It will also be live-streamed at www.facebook.com/fccgeorgetown at the same time.

THE SERVICE - Our Christmas Eve service will last no longer than one hour and will feature a telling of the birth story that invites us into wonder and curiosity, scripture readings from the narratives of the birth of Jesus in the gospels, congregational singing of carols, special music, communion, and will close with candlelight as we sing “Silent Night” together. The service is for people of all ages.

COMMUNION - We share in communion together each time we worship. The communion table is Christ’s table and *all* are welcome to share in communion when it is observed in the service- no exceptions!

DRESS - Some will dress up in a “business casual” kind of level, others will wear jeans, some children may be present in their pajamas for this service. There are no set dress expectations- come as you are!

PARKING & ENTRY - We have parking lots on both College Street and Clinton Street (one block south of College), with entrances on both sides. There is also street parking available on both streets. Greeters will be at each door to direct you to the sanctuary and answer any questions you might have.
